28.-30. September 2023: Tagung „Diversity and Difference. Studies in Subjectivation”, Kiel
Dr. Jördis Grabow, Postdoc am Institut für Diversitätsforschung, wird am 30. September bei der internationalen Tagung „Diversity and Difference – Studies in Subjectivation“ an der CAU Kiel einen Vortrag im Panel „Modes of Agency“ halten. Der Titel ihres Vortrags lautet „Subjects in Transformation. Emancipatory Resistances in East Germany“.
Die Tagung Diversity and Difference – Studies in Subjectivation“ wird vom 28. bis zum 30. September stattfinden und nimmt mithilfe des theoretischen Vokabulars und der empirischen Herangehensweisen der Subjektivierungsforschung Diversität und Differenz in den Blick: Wie kann eine Perspektive auf Subjekte und Subjektivierung, Biographien und Diskurse, Artikulationen und Re-Artikulationen, Positionierungen und Re-Positionierungen für eine kritische Gesellschaftsanalyse im Kontext von Diversität und Differenz fruchtbar gemacht werden? Hierbei wird eine gemeinsame Reflexion von Methoden, Theorien und Forschungspraktiken in den Sozialwissenschaften angestrebt.
Die Tagung wird organisiert von der Forschungsgruppe Gender & Diversity Studies der Universität Kiel und ist zugleich die Internationale Konferenz der Arbeitsgemeinschaft Subjektivierungsforschung. Das Tagungsprogramm ist hier zu finden und die Anmeldung ist bis zum 7. September möglich.

Dr. Jördis Grabow, Postdoc at the Göttingen Diversity Research Institute, will give a lecture in the panel „Modes of Agency“ at the international conference „Diversity and Difference – Studies in Subjectivation“ at CAU Kiel on 30 September. The title of her presentation is „Subjects in Transformation. Emancipatory Resistances in East Germany“.
The conference „Diversity and Difference – Studies in Subjectivation“ will take place from 28 to 30 September and will look at diversity and difference with the help of the theoretical vocabulary and empirical approaches of subjectivation research: How can a perspective on subjects and subjectification, biographies and discourses, articulations and re-articulations, positionings and re-positionings be made fruitful for a critical social analysis in the context of diversity and difference? The aim here is a joint reflection on methods, theories and research practices in the social sciences.
The conference is organised by the Gender & Diversity Studies Research Group at Kiel University and is also the International Conference of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Subjektivierungsforschung. The conference programme can be found here and registration is possible until 7 September.
