Der Gleichstellungs-Innovations-Fonds der Universität Göttingen fördert eine Follow-Up-Studie zum Einfluss der Corona-Pandemie auf die Arbeitsbedingungen und Zukunftschancen von Nachwuchswissenschaftler*innen, insbesondere mit Care-Verantwortung, an der Universität Göttingen. Das Projekt widmet sich der Aktualisierung der Befunde aus der ersten Studie und geht der Frage nach, wie sich die Corona-Pandemie auf die Arbeitsbedingungen und Karriereperspektiven von Nachwuchswissenschaftler*innen, insbesondere mit Care-Verantwortung ausgewirkt hat? Der Fokus liegt auf der Perspektive der Nachwuchswissenschaftler*innen, die im Zeitraum 2020-2023 Ihre Qualifikationsphase bestreiten sowie auf der Perspektive von Führungskräften mit Betreuungsverantwortung. Ziel ist es, konkrete und anwendbare Handlungsempfehlungen zur Förderung des wissenschaftlichen Nachwuchses in Krisensituationen für die Universität Göttingen abzuleiten.

Follow-up study on the influence of the Coronavirus pandemic on the working conditions and career prospects of early career researchers, especially those with care responsibilities, at the University of Göttingen
The University of Göttingen’s Equality Innovation Fund is funding a follow-up study on the of the Coronavirus pandemic on the working conditions and career prospects of early career researchers. The project aims to update the findings of the first study and to investigate how the Corona pandemic has affected the working conditions and career prospects of young researchers, in particular those with caring responsibilities. The focus will be on the perspective of young researchers in their qualification phase during the period 2020-2023, as well as on the perspective of established or senior researchers with leadership responsibilities. The aim is to derive concrete and applicable recommendations for the University of Göttingen to support young researchers in crisis situations.
