Daniel Schumann hat eine Einladung als Guest Scholar am German Historical Institute – Pacific Regional Office (GHI PRO) an der University of California, Berkeley erhalten. Während des Forschungsaufenthalts im September und Oktober 2022 wird Daniel Schumann an seinem Dissertationsprojekt „Epistemologien der Integration. Zur Konstruktion und Bearbeitung von Differenz in Schulbüchern des Politikunterrichts“ arbeiten und zentrale Thesen zur Diskussion stellen. Der Schwerpunkt des GHI PRO liegt an der Schnittstelle von Migrations- und Wissensforschung.

Daniel Schumann to be a Guest Scholar at GHI PRO at UC Berkeley
Daniel Schumann has received an invitation to be a Guest Scholar at the German Historical Institute – Pacific Regional Office (GHI PRO) at University of California, Berkeley. During his stay in September and October 2022, Daniel will be working on his thesis “Epistemologies of Immigrant Integration. On the Construction and Management of Difference in Civic Education Textbooks” and will be presenting from it. GHI PRO focuses on the intersection of migration and knowledge studies.
